“Reggae, lovers rock, and island rhythm from two Jamaican-born voices in the Okanagan.”
T>G is a Jamaican-born reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop artist from Spanish Town, now based in Kelowna. He started singing at 12 and built a sound that keeps yard rhythm, dancehall bounce, and hip-hop flow in the same set. Releases include the 2023 EP 528 Forever, Kindness, Sweet Jamaica (Acoustic Version), and the 2026 single Grow. JBYRD, born Janelle Mighty, was raised in Jamaica and now calls Kelowna home. Her sets pair a soulful voice with high stage energy, drawing on Sade, Rihanna, and Tessanne Chin. She released the single Blessings in 2024 and performs across the Okanagan, most often beside T>G. Together they headline rooms from Salmon Arm to Kelowna, including Red Bird, Dunnenzies, Crown & Thieves, and Reggae Glow Fest with The Keystone Band.
